1. introduction

Jérôme Argot, auto-entrepreneur (SIRET 813 698 438 00039), based in Lyon, France ("Foresight," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Foresight mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app. Please read this policy carefully. By using Foresight, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information: email address, date of birth, gender, and location when you create an account.
• Photos: face and body photos you upload during onboarding, used solely to generate personalized AI imagery of your possible futures.
• Onboarding responses: your answers to questions about goals, interests, feelings, and preferences.
• Usage data: futures you create, episodes you explore, messages you send, and features you interact with.
• Purchase information: subscription and credit purchase history, processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card details.

3. how we use your information

• Generate personalized AI futures, episodes, images, and conversations based on your inputs.
• Process your subscription and credit purchases.
• Improve and personalize your experience within the app.
• Send you notifications related to your account and activity (if enabled).
• Analyze usage patterns to improve our product.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. AI and third-party services

Foresight uses artificial intelligence to generate your stories and images. Your inputs (profile answers, text prompts, and reference photos) are processed by the following third-party AI providers, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:

• OpenRouter: receives your profile answers and generates your personalized story text.
• Fal.ai: receives your reference photos and generates the AI images of you in your futures.
• OpenAI: receives user-written text for content moderation (checking for unsafe content).

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and process data solely to provide the services we request. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. photo storage and use

Photos you upload are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 (our encrypted object storage). They are used exclusively to generate AI imagery depicting your possible futures, and are sent to Fal.ai for that purpose only. You can replace or remove your reference photos at any time from Settings → Update Photos in the app. You can also delete your account from Settings in the app, which immediately revokes your access; to request removal of any photos that remain in our storage, contact us at the address in section 11. Photos are not shared with other users or used for any purpose beyond generating your personalized content.

6. data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account in-app, your access is revoked immediately; account-linked data, including uploaded photos, is removed within 30 days of a verified deletion request to our support channel (see section 11). Some data may be retained longer if required by law.

7. your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Request a portable copy of your data.

8. children's privacy

Foresight is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the app or on our website. Your continued use of Foresight after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
